British designer Karen Ryan's 'Whittle no. 3' takes an unvalued object and up-cycles it. A continuation of her whittle chair series, Ryan's 'Whittle no. 3' embodies the notion of DIY up-cycling by using nothing more than a discarded chair, a penknife and her time. This is super intense. I think I would have a mini heart-attack before making the first move to whittle the chair and take away it's former beauty.
