route 127 treasure collection.

Yay! Here are most of my finds on the route 127 corridor sale. let me just mention, it rained a couple of the days, and we only saw two expo centers so everything else was located outside either in people's yards or in fields set up like a flea market. we each found some good keeps amongst the large amount of junk.

Ball Perfect Mason jar - $1.50
McCoy Pitcher - $5 (has a chip in the handle)
Walker China Restaurant Ware bowl - $0.50 (below pitcher)
Iroquois China Restaurant Ware platter - $5
Assortment of 6 wooden spoons - $5.50
Stoneware bowl - $15
Munising rolling pin - $2
2 ironstone dinner plates - $4
Scandinavian styled enamel bowl - $2
8 porcelain soup bowls - $4
Sterling Silver Turquoise ring - $12
Vintage turquoise with blue sash dress - $25 (this dress was owned by the mother of the lady who sold it to me, she let me try it on and it was also in perfect condition-it needed to come home with me!)

not pictured:
Route 127 t-shirt - $7
hot pink, purple, and gold chunky wood necklace - $1
2 scarves - $2

Buying so many breakable treasures on a road-trip is risky business, but i had anticipated it would happen so we were prepared with bubble wrap, newspapers, plastic bags and boxes. nothing broke! since most everything had been rained on it wasn't exactly enticing to buy a piece of furniture or any big ticket item, but under the circumstances i am over all very happy with everything that i came home with.
