Starbucks New Logo.

Speaking of coffee, I'm reminded that in March Starbucks will be using their new logo to celebrate it's 40th birthday. The logo ditches the "Starbucks Coffee" typography and leaves the Siren remaining. Starbucks CEO, Howard Schultz says the logo at the core is the same, but by putting the Siren outside the original logo it allows the company to move beyond just being a purveyor of coffee. What do you think?

  1. I think it's a desperate move by a desperate company. People that still choose Starbucks when every other company in the world sells similar coffee for less are insane (written as I duck a flying Starbucks cup thrown by Caneth).
