HAPPY RED FISH

amsterdam based artist hagar van heummen creates these beautiful embroidery pieces - what do you think of the no face/red hat situation, they must have done something real bad to deserve that fate ya'll!

Dan Mountford.

A double exposure image created by Dan Mountford. He has a few more works in this similar media, but this is by far my favorite of them all.

AJ Fosik.

AJ Fosik Artist Profile from Kwality Media on Vimeo.

AJ Fosik makes folk art inspired sculptures from paint, wood, and nails. I've seen them around the blog-world awhile ago and have finally decided to share them myself. You can see an interview with AJ Fosik on Fecal Face. If you go to the interview you'll also see a ton more images of his work. The more you look the more complex they seem!

Lillianna Pereira.

So I think I pretty much have a new art crush and her name is Lillianna. The talent, the intuition, the detail! The more I look the more I like.

Abigail Reynolds.

Amazing cut book plate works by Abigail Reynolds.

Joetta Maue.

My mother has a pretty large collection of vintage linens and she is slowly converting me. I also happen to have a pretty big soft spot for all fiber art and the above by Joetta Maue are no exception. Aren't they sweet?

Objecten.

Abstract work by graphic artist Ronald Ceuppens. I really appreciate the precise detail here.
