when clara was born my sister had asked if i would make her a baby bracelet with a horse charm on it (in remembrance of the fact that her middle name was almost zenyatta). while i was in california visiting my friend christie we went to the fashion district in los angeles and i found this perfect race horse and jockey charm. some of the beads are new and some are recycled from a couple of necklaces from my mom (clara's grandma). i also added a vintage rhinestone because clara is a very fancy baby, so naturally it needed some sparkle.
i'm on the lookout for a vintage velvet jewelry case to package it in. i think i'm going to put where each bead/charm came from on a card inside the box so she has the history along with it.
